Food Intolerance

What is this?

Food Intolerance is a reaction of the immune system against specific foods, through low-reactivity IgG antibodies.

Many people, when they systematically consume the same foods, develop food intolerance reactions.

This reaction can cause:

  1. symptoms of stomach-intestinal bloating, bowel dysfunctions, cachexia
  2. fluid retention and therefore higher weight maintenance.
  3. "locking" of the metabolism at low levels and therefore inability to lose weight with relatively relaxed diets.

"locking" of the metabolism at low levels and therefore inability to lose weight with relatively relaxed diets.

  1. planning abstinence or reducing the intake of the specific food for a period of time in order to reverse the intolerance to it
  2. planning a special diet to avoid spreading the intolerance to other foods

In this particular test, a quantitative measurement of IgG antibodies is made against each food separately (it is NOT a white cell polarity test, nor a body electromagnetism test, which has dubious scientific support and usefulness).

The foods, that we analyze are:

  1. Almond, Peanut, Sunflower,
  2. Cottage cheese, American cheese, Cured cheese,
  3. Pepper, Green Pepper,
  4. Meat Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, Rabbit, Turkey,
  5. Cod, Salmon, Trout, Tuna, Cod, Lobster, Squid, Fish tongue, Sardine, Molluscs, Shrimps
  6. Tomato, Cucumber, Asparagus, Artichoke, Cabbage, Pumpkins, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cabbage

Blood sampling can be done at any time of the day (laboratory hours 7.30 a.m. – 7.30 p.m.).

Results are given within 3 working days.

Intolerance tests are NOT prescribed at EOPYY.

The cost of the test for 90 analyzes is 290 euros.
