The extra tests we recommend for this age group include:

Cardiovascular risk indicators

Fibrinogen (Fibr) Coagulation factor, which is responsible for the healing of injured vessels. Index of intravascular inflammation and cardiovascular risk. The measurement is of particular value in people with significant dyslipidemia and in smokers.
Homocysteine (HCY): Independent marker of vascular damage and cardiovascular disease risk. High values are observed in obese people, smokers, and people with the MHTFR C677T gene mutation.

Creatine Phosphokinase (CPK)
It is an enzyme found in muscle cells and ιτ is used as an indicator of muscle strain from exercise, in order to avoid possible overexertion and possible injuries to muscles and ligaments. The test can give extra information about other pathological diseases in cases of muscle pain and weakness without an obvious reason.

Ferrum (Fe) and Ferritin (Ferr)
The two tests are carried out in combination to assess dietary iron adequacy.
We indirectly detect stomach disorders, celiac disease, nutritional disorders (diets - vegetarianism), and increased Ferrum needs (intense exercise), which can gradually lead to Ferrum deficiency.
A possible lack of Ferrum, in addition to anemia with symptoms of fatigue, can bring a more general change in behavior, low quality of hair (and loss), and low sports performance.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
We preventively check the correct regulation of the thyroid gland, which is responsible for the body's metabolic rate. Prolonged thyroid malfunction can be expressed in obesity, lack of concentration, behavioral and psychological problems. A preventive check-up is even more valuable in people with relatives with thyroid diseases.

Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is responsible for the conservation of the nervous system - mental functions, the protection of the cardiovascular system, and the body in general. Nutritional disorders or malabsorption often conclude in a lack of the vitamin.

Vitamin D3 (25-OH-D3)
Vitamin D3 is responsible for the absorption of calcium in the bones and the regulation of the immune system. In surveys, the lack of this vitamin has been ascertained in a percentage of even 80% of the examinees. The lack can create problems in the immune system, in the general well-being of the body, and rarely in the skeleton.
