WHAT IS.
For special rare analyses we cooperate with laboratories for specialised and rare analyses in Greece and abroad.
So, when a test is rarely required, we take it upon ourselves to find out in which laboratory it is done and at what cost.
Next:
- We give appropriate instructions before taking the sample.
- We collect, prepare and package the sample for shipment to the partner laboratory.
- We take care of the shipment and any necessary coordination with the collaborating laboratory.
- We receive the result and deliver it translated to you for evaluation by your doctor.
The shipping service will be charged at the cost of the courier company selected

The performance of specific rare analyses, such as blood and DNA analyses, is an essential part of medical practice, allowing the diagnosis and treatment of conditions with rare or unusual characteristics. These analyses are often required to identify genetic disorders, identify rare forms of disease and monitor disease progression in patients. The use of these specific analyses facilitates the provision of personalised medical care and the development of new therapeutic approaches for rare diseases.
Blood tests contribute to the investigation and diagnosis of a variety of blood diseases, including rare blood disorders. These analyses may include checking blood levels, haematocrit, platelet and white blood cell counts, as well as special tests such as electrophoretic agitation or flow cytometry analyses. These analyses allow the assessment of haematopoietic function and the detection of disorders such as leukaemia, anaemias and cases of blood coagulation disorders.
DNA analysis is a powerful tool for identifying genetic variants and diagnosing genetic disorders. This procedure usually involves collecting a DNA sample from the patient, often through oral secretions or blood. The DNA is then analysed to identify mutations or abnormalities in the patient’s genome. This analysis can be carried out by various methods, including DNA sequencing, analysis of gene interactions and detection of specific mutations.
