Anti-aging - Check Up

WHAT IT IS (Anti-Aging – Check Up)

Functional anti-ageing is the taking of measures to slow down the natural ageing process by

  • good biochemical function
  • avoidance of stress factors for the individual organs of the body
  • balanced amounts of vitamins and antioxidants
LABORATORY TESTING

With the General Check Up examinations, we perform a primary check of the health of the body, in order to exclude possible diseases or predisposing factors that tire and wear out the body.

ANALYSIS / TESTING / SCANNING :
General blood count / CBC blood count Measurements in Hematocrit – Red Blood Cell – White Blood Cell – Platelets and examination of their morphology.
Detection of mainly Anemia, Inflammation, Infections, Marrow Dysplasia.
Indications – effect of chronic diseases – conditions
Settling velocity TCE/ESR
C-reactive protein High sensitivity CRP-hs Short-term central as well as local inflammation,
cardiovascular risk consideration of endovascular inflammation
Fasting sugar / two-hour Glu Diabetes mellitus / predisposition to diabetes
Urea Urea Kidney function
Creatinine Cr
Uric acid UA Arthritis, eating disorders
Cholesterol Total Chol The amount and ratio of blood lipids as
– a key indicator of long-term cardiovascular risk
– an indicator of metabolic profile
Cholesterol HDL
LDL cholesterol
Triglycerides Tgl
Atherotic index
γ-glutaminotransferase γ-GT Liver function, possible liver irritation from chemical agents or infections
Transaminases ALT & AST
General urine Pathology and infections in kidneys and bladder

In addition, we look at factors that help regenerate the body’s tissues or protect them from damage, we also look at factors that weaken the body in the long term, and specific markers of inflammation.

  • Folic acid (folic acid) and vitamin B12 (Vit. B12): are regenerative vitamins of the body’s cells. Their deficiency and significant excess can cause undesirable reactions in the body.
  • Vitamin D3-25(OH) with its antioxidant, anti-cancer and immune-enhancing action, protects many organs of the body and especially the bones from aging.
  • The fat-soluble vitamin E (Vit. E), protects the cardiovascular system, rejuvenates epidermal cells and generally has a beneficial effect. In combination with folic acid, they are considered the vitamins that regulate healthy sexual health and expression in humans.
  • Vitamin A (Vit. A) helps in the regeneration of cells and especially the skin. But high levels of the vitamin can be strongly hepatotoxic.
  • Cytomegalovirus infection (CMV IgG) acts as a dynamic aging factor in the body. People who have passed the infection should take additional protective measures (e.g. in colds and seasonal illnesses).
  • Cortisol (Cort): perhaps the most important stress hormone. Possibly high levels create increased bone damage, weaken the immune system, have a diabetogenic effect and generally dysregulate the body.
  • Homocysteine (Hcy): an indicator of vascular inflammation and particularly in cases of diabetes, dyslipidemia and atherosclerotic disease. Increased values can also be measured in cases of vitamin B9 (folic acid) deficiency, obesity, general inflammation, in smokers, and generally in situations of increased aging of the body.
